Danel Castaños, born in Barakaldo, holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Deusto (Bilbao). He is a member of Agora Filosofia Elkartea (Philosophy Association of the Basque Country). He is academically connected to the Zubiri Foundation (Madrid), through the philosopher of the Madrid School, Xavier Zubiri, who was the focus of his doctoral thesis. He is also part of the Barakaldo writers’ association Aebak. His work Propaedeutics in Education is the first book written in Basque on non-standard theory. He has also published two other philosophical books. His philosophical trajectory focuses on the ante-formative forces that exist before the manifestation of being.
